Children's Book Illustrator-Authors on Drawing Across Race with Kids

In case you missed it! Watch this conversation in which some of our favorite children's book illustrator-authors - Grace Lin, Oge Mora and Yuyi Morales - shared their experiences as children who didn’t see people who looked like them depicted favorably or much at all in books and media. They talk about what that invisibility cost them and how they came to create the images they wish they’d had as children. They also reveal their drawings of each other and take questions and comments from the EmbraceRace community.
