Talking with Kids about Race & Justice in Today's World

Immigration, gun violence, voting rights, political violence, protests -- your kids have probably heard about these issues from peers, social media, news sources, and lots of other places! How can parents, educators, and caregivers have thoughtful, race-conscious and justice-focused conversations with kids in response to these challenging current events? What can we share and what is age-appropriate information? How do we care for our children in the midst of these tense and emotionally-charged times?
