Going into the school year, EmbraceRace featured several webinars that explored fantastic practice when it comes to supporting children's racial learning in the classroom. The most recent focused on supporting kids understanding in late elementary school. Find it and past webinars in our archives!
At EmbraceRace, we're working hard to develop and point to resources, community spaces and opportunities that will support all caregivers wanting to raise color brave kids. How're we doing that? Check in here for updates about EmbraceRace programs, community happenings and media coverage.
Children growing up in our multicultural democracy increasingly interact across many different racial and ethnic lines. Kids of color need support to cross racial lines and befriend each other, too.
EmbraceRace was founded in early 2016 by two co-parents. From the start, the EmbraceRace community has been supported by a wonderful national advisory group and a dedicated team of consultants and contributors. And as of 2021, we are delighted to have a growing (small but mighty!) staff as well.
EmbraceRace is your community of support for raising kids (of all colors) who are inclusive, thoughtful and brave about race. Participate and learn with this community today!
