October 15: EmbraceRace at the Literacy & Justice or All Conference in Oakland

EmbraceRace’s Andrew Grant-Thomas will be speaking in-person on October 15th at the Literacy & Justice For All Symposium on a panel titled “Books have never been enough: Reading for racial justice," happening in Oakland, CA. The session, which also features Savitha Moorthy and Roberta Gonzalez from Tandem, Partners in Learning, (our awesome partners!) will focus on connecting book sharing experiences to children’s lives to promote early literacy and language development and healthy, age-appropriate conversations about race and racial equity.

It's not too late to attend the conference. Learn more about it, here.
