Since 2016, EmbraceRace has created tools, resources, discussion spaces, and networks to help adults engage children in brave conversations and actions around race. Together, we are building more and better resources and spaces for the vital work of color-brave teaching, learning, and caregiving.
We love that so many in our community want to share our work with their people. Scroll down this page for ideas - and let us know how it goes. We always want to hear about what works and what didn’t go so well. We may even add your idea to this page!
I’m interested in using EmbraceRace resources with my community (caregivers, educators, colleagues, etc.)
Here are some starting points:
- Gather a group to discuss an EmbraceRace resource. You might try:
- Listening to an episode from Season 1 of the EmbraceRace Podcast: How Kids ACTUALLY Learn About Race
- Sitting down together to watch and/or discuss your pick from our extensive online conversations library
- Reading and discussing our Color-Brave Caregiver Framework (here's the printable version) or choosing from one of our guides for raising color-brave kids
- Encourage folks to sign up for EmbraceRace’s email list where they will receive the newsletter with our latest on race & kids, including upcoming events, course offerings, resources, community news and curated links.
- Email hugs@embracerace.org if you are interested in exploring hiring EmbraceRace to bring a workshop or course to your community.
- Don’t see what you’re looking for? Send us an email - hugs@embraceraceorg.
Thank you for being part of our community – and doing the work every single day to fight for justice in our homes, in our schools and in our communities.
