Digital and movement advisor
I'm an organizer and digital strategist with 15 years of experience building people-powered campaigns and organizations. Racial justice is a motivating concern in all my work.
In 2013, I founded PowerLabs, a consulting firm that helps organizers build powerful organizations and movements by integrating community organizing and digital strategy. Our clients include Article 25, the Chorus Foundation, Forward Together, KFTC, and the Funders’ Collaborative for Youth Organizing. I’m also on the core team of Showing Up for Racial Justice - SURJ.
Previously, I provided strategic support to user-generated campaigns on Change.org's platform. My work at Change.org helped people win life-changing (and life-saving) victories including freeing loved ones from prison and changing organ transplant policies for kids.
Not least, I am a white man partnered with a white woman raising a white son to be antiracist.
